12 Days of Work Left

A great day in the library. Had classes in today that weren’t looking for books, but doing their ‘one pagers’ on their recent book read and sitting at the tables so they could all be in their small groups. It was so cool!! I’ve started talking up the idea to teachers as they come and go! Got all the rest of the repaired books put out, and had just three that need more work. Sat on the phone with our bookkeeper for awhile so we could figure out why in the world is my ASB Junior Library Guild fund so low?? Well, it turns out that it was funded by students and parents paying off their book fines and there is now a whole separate account for that and there was quite a bit of money in there! I was worried! How was I going to pay Junior Library Guild when that comes up to renew?? But now I know, so all is well. Got the new invoice from Escape Fiction and sent that to our principal for review. Got the news that the books I sent in to LMSS got all processed and are on their way back to us!!! SQUEEEE!! So excited to get new books in!!! Did some laminating after school. Both lunches were in today.
